Mars on Earth: NASA and Mars Society Prepare Mars Base in Canadian Arctic

On jumbled rocky terrain high in the Canadian Arctic, scientists, engineers and a committed group of Mars zealots are spending the summer practicing for missions to the Red Planet. They'll travel to Haughton Crater on Devon Island to test techniques and technology for studying the coldest, most desolate landscapes in the solar system.
