Logitech's Pocket Digital Camera

Thin is definitely in, and photography is no exception. But while we all feel the need to diet from time to time, there’s comfort knowing that your camera is already svelte.

At Logitech, the waif is the camera, instead of standing in front of it. Roughly the size of a credit card, Logitech’s Pocket Digital camera is a sporty little thing a half-inch (1.2 centimeters) thick at its widest point. A sliding cover protects the lens – the only bulge in an otherwise flat device - should you accidentally bump against wall with the camera in your back pocket.

But cool factor aside, Pocket Digital offers a bit more than other compact devices. It stores up to 52 images with a resolution of 1.3 megapixels, respectable considering its size. To rise above mere point-and-click status, it offers a special feature that balances out light and dark areas of an image to provide crisp shots every time.

The Pocket Digital doesn’t come with a snazzy LCD screen on the back to toggle through your favorite images and pick and choose which ones to keep. But screens need big batteries and the tiny rechargeable lithium one powering Pocket Digital just wouldn’t be up to the task. But its enough for Pocket Digital and recharges when connected to your computer as an added bonus.

Pocket Digital Camera: $129.95
